We are excited to establish a partnership between AKBD Press Advertising and Advocacy Service (Ethiopia) (herein referred to as Anzisha Partner) and the Anzisha Prize of the African Leadership Academy (ALA) Centre for Entrepreneurial Leadership.
The Anzisha Prize is celebrating Africa’s youngest, most innovative entrepreneurs, between the ages of 15-22, who have created ventures that have a positive impact in their community. It distributes 75,000 USD in cash prizes, from The MasterCard Foundation, and 10.000 USD in cash for a renewable energy project from the Silicon Valley Community Foundation Donor Circle for Africa between the 12 selected finalists. Applications will open in March 2015 and close end of April 2015.
During this period, Anzisha Prize works with partners across the continent to market and spread the Anzisha Prize opportunity to young people. The finalist selection process with in-country site visits runs in May and June. Finalists are chosen and Anzisha Prize Week takes place in Johannesburg in November 2015 during the Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW).
